Love of cooking

Tessa van Dam Merrett originally became known for her floral arrangements and her international flower school. But since we moved to this region of gourmets and the availability of an abundance of an abundance of many products, and by doing a lot of research and experimenting, a new love evolved; the love of cooking.

So we have transformed her workshop into a dream kitchen with a 6-oven AGA cooking stove and long tables which seat op to 30 persons. Our herb garden is right next to the kitchen and in the vegetable garden we grow the finest unsprayed forgotten and common vegetables which arrive fresh at the counter for further processing. Tessa has obtained her chefs degree at a nearby hotel school.

Florist or cook?

Tessa uses the finest organically grown heirloom as well as everyday vegetables picked fresh daily, to prepare her gourmet meals. Her artistic kitchen talent has surprised and inspired many a guest.

Book

For our guests, but also for outside visitors, we prefer to cook a dinner by appointment. for groups or companies we can arrange for a course or demonstration.
